Fundraising

We are an independent charity and receive no funding from the national organisation, Royal Mencap Society.

Like many voluntary organisations we work hard to secure funds to maintain and provide services for people with disabilities, their families and carers.

We employ a Fundraiser to co-ordinate all our local fundraising activities as well as liaising with local organisations and businesses to secure both financial and practical support. We also fundraise through applying to trusts and funding organisations such as the Lottery.

For details of our current range of fundraising events and activities please look at our What’s On page

How you can help
There are lots of different ways you can help us to fundraise.
Perhaps you would like to

  • run a fundraising event for us?
  • sell raffle tickets?
  • take part in a sponsored event or challenge?
  • do something different?

You can also help on a stall at an outside event, help with cash collections at various locations or secure a site for one of our collecting tins.

We are always happy to receive any unwanted gifts, paperback books and CDs which are used to raise funds. You can also help by donating used toner cartridges and old mobile phones which we turn into cash for the charity.

If you register with www.everyclick.com and select to support Bromley Mencap, every time you log onto their site they make a donation to us.

We’d really welcome your support! If you would like to help please contact us

Thank you.
