Employment Advisor (Employ Me London)
Salary: £26,654 p.a. & 3% pension
Hours: Full Time
Contract: Fixed Term (until 30th June 2023)


The Employ Me London project is for young Londoners aged 16-24 who are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET) and have a learning difficulty and/or a learning disability. Employ Me London will deliver tailored support to young people who have learning difficulties and/or disabilities to access sustained employment or further education.
Bromley Mencap works in Bromley, Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham for the purposes of this programme.

This post will work on the Employ Me London programme and help support young people with learning disabilities or autism who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) learn the skills they need to move into paid work. The post-holder will offer skills training, employment workshops, work experience and other activities to support young people on their journey to work.

Day Services Scheme Assistant
Hourly rate of £10.85/hr, paid monthly

Bromley Mencap are looking to recruit energetic and enthusiastic Scheme Assistants to join our expanding team, supporting disabled clients at our new Day Services.
The project aims to promote life and independence skills though a range of activities and as a Scheme Assistant you will support our clients to access these opportunities.

Our Day Services are open Monday to Friday in Bromley, Orpington and West Wickham, hours of work are 9:30-4pm and from 9:30am-4:30pm on a Saturday in Bromley.  Opportunities are available to work as part of the team, or as 1:1 support workers for clients requiring a higher level of support.

Programme Administrator
Part time hours Monday to Friday 9am to 12 noon

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to support the day to day running of our day opportunities for disabled adults in Bromley.   You will work as part of the Lodge team, but also be confident to work independently devising interesting programmes which will support disabled adults to develop and enhance their independence and life skills. You will also be required to source resources, plan the staff rota, liaise with our clients, their families and carers and other staff members to ensure our services are delivered smoothly and professionally.

Saturday Club Scheme/Team Leader
£15.00 per hour

Do you have experience of managing a team of people and a care background?
Then this might be the ideal role for you! We need a reliable, flexible and resourceful person to lead a team of support workers at our Saturday Club which provides a much needed short break for families, while providing a range of fun activities for clients led by sessional workers. Hours – 9.30am to 4.30pm, run fortnightly at The Astley Day Centre in Bromley. The post holder will also have 2 hours of planning and preparation time for each session. Short Breaks Service is recruiting staff!  Are you energetic, fun, caring and with time to spare?

Volunteers Needed!  Do you have a love of the outdoors to share?

We are looking to recruit experienced job coaches, to work with and support disabled people in sustaining their employment.  You will have experience of one to one coaching, and agreeing reasonable adjustments with employers on behalf of our clients.
