Day Services Manager
Full-time – 37.5hrs per week
£34,000  plus 5% Pension

This is an exciting time to be joining the organisation and you will have responsibility for developing Day Services for disabled people in Bromley.  With no two days being the same you will manage, develop and expand our day services for disabled people across the borough.
You will have experience of working to deadlines and meeting targets combined with a passion for Bromley Mencap’s work. With a positive attitude and a can-do approach, you will work well with our disabled clients, their families and carers and will support and develop our team of day service staff.

Cleaning Supervisor
Hourly rate of 
£12 ph (negotiable), paid monthly

We are looking for a reliable person with great attention to detail to join our team as a cleaner and supervisor. As a key holder, you will be responsible for opening and securely closing our offices in Rutland House on Masons Hill each morning and overseeing and working alongside the team to ensure the office is kept clean. You will be required to ensure cleaning duties are carried out to the highest standards of cleanliness and complete checklists. You must ensure that the team is adhering to COSHH regulations and that the correct use and storage of cleaning substances and materials are in place. You will be responsible for managing the stock of cleaning materials and reporting stock levels to the Employment Services Manager.

Honorary Treasurer – Voluntary

Time commitment: Approx 1 day per month

Short Breaks Service is recruiting staff!  Are you energetic, fun, caring and with time to spare?
We are looking for people aged 16 to 70+ to work in our Short Breaks Service for children and teenagers with special needs or disabilities. No experience needed as we’ll offer you full free training and an induction.

Volunteers Needed!  Do you have a love of the outdoors to share?

We are looking for people to support students with disabilities on Woodland Management workshops at London South East Colleges (Bromley).  Do you have horticulture, bush craft, teaching or similar relevant knowledge or experience and would like to support these students?  To volunteer or for more information  please contact Sally Bateman on sally.bateman@bromleymencap.org or call 020 8466 0791.

The sessions will run on weekly on Tuesdays from 10am – 2pm, with potential to expand to more sessions in the future.



Job Coach (Casual contract)
Rate of Pay £10.85 per hour
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our supported employment service. We are looking to recruit experienced job coaches, to work with and support disabled people in sustaining their employment.  You will have experience of one to one coaching, and agreeing reasonable adjustments with employers on behalf of our clients.
