DESCRIPTION:Join Bromley Mencap’s Cost of Living team for a free practical workshop about understanding household bills and managing costs at home. \nThis workshop will cover: \n\nunderstanding energy bills\, water bills and council tax\neveryday ways to save money at home\nopening letters without fear\nhow to spot an important letter\nDigital Champions’ challenge\n\nDate: Wednesday 9 SeptemberTime: 10.30am to 12.30pmLocation: Orpington Methodist Church\, Sevenoaks Road\, Orpington BR6 9JH \nThe venue is an accessible location with good public transport links\, and bus stops are located directly outside. \nGetting there:Buses 358\, R5\, R7\, R8\, R10 and R11 stop directly outside the church at bus stops K and M on Hillcrest Road. Orpington Station is the closest train station. The church is located at the junction of Sevenoaks Road and Hillcrest Road\, around 200 metres south of the War Memorial.
