DESCRIPTION:Join Bromley Mencap’s Cost of Living team for a free practical workshop on phone contracts\, internet plans\, subscriptions and staying safe online. \nThis workshop will cover: \n\npay as you go versus phone contracts\nunderstanding phone and internet plans\nhow to spot hidden or forgotten subscriptions\nonline safety and scams\nasking for help before you agree to anything\npractising how to say: “I need time to think about this”\n\nDate: Wednesday 14 OctoberTime: 10.30am to 12.30pmLocation: Orpington Methodist Church\, Sevenoaks Road\, Orpington BR6 9JH \nThe venue is an accessible location with good public transport links\, and bus stops are located directly outside. \nGetting there:Buses 358\, R5\, R7\, R8\, R10 and R11 stop directly outside the church at bus stops K and M on Hillcrest Road. Orpington Station is the closest train station. The church is located at the junction of Sevenoaks Road and Hillcrest Road\, around 200 metres south of the War Memorial.
