About this event

Have you been inspired by the return of Bake Off?

We have, so we will be running a ‘Virtual’ Halloween Bake Off to encourage people to keep busy and entertained while staying home and keeping safe.  To enter bake cakes, biscuits, cupcakes, muffins or any treat of your choice with a spooky, Halloween theme.

With our current situation, our charity along with many others are doing all we can to continue our services and this includes our fundraising.  So we ask you to have some fun and donate to our cause.

How can you participate?

We are asking those who want to take part in our ‘Virtual’ Halloween Bake Off to take a picture or post their bake on social media, with a description of how it tastes and what went into making it. Then donate £3 to Bromley Mencap here .

Don’t forget to tag us on Instagram, Twitter and/or Facebook and use the hashtag #BMHalloweenBakeOff.

If you want to participate but don’t use social media, we can share on your behalf. Just email Jane at jane.barnes@bromleymencap.org .

The competition will run from 1 – 31 October.  Please make sure you let us know you are taking part so we can ensure everyone is included in the judging process!   Winners will be announced during first week of November.

The prize is a £20 voucher for shopping!

Why not have a cake sale or coffee morning for charity?

Sell your bakes to friends, family and neighbours or host a coffee morning, keeping to guidelines of meeting others safely, and ask for donations.

It couldn’t be easier and we can provide fundraising packs with balloons, stickers and leaflets to decorate your event.  Just get in touch by emailing jane.barnes@bromleymencap.org
