Our Mutual Carers Project provides a monthly workshop Lunch Club for carers aged 55+ offering a hearty lunch and a presentation by a guest speaker which is chosen by the group. We also run a peer support group for carers with a learning disability. Both groups provide the opportunity to meet and talk together in a relaxed environment and learn more about issues they may be facing like dementia, emergency planning, health matters, budgeting and being safe at home.
Our support worker also runs cookery sessions, teaching independent living skills and safety in the kitchen.
Who is this for?
