The Monday Afternooners is a monthly recreation club for people with cerebral palsy who live independently or who are isolated in the Borough of Bromley.

The annual programme is varied with two or three indoor meetings and eight or nine outings.

Members of the club set the programme for the year.

We currently run a waiting list for anybody interested in joining.

Who is this for?

People with cerebral palsy who live independently or who are isolated in the Borough of Bromley.

How is it funded?

There is a charge for each outing.

Social events

Regular events include two children’s parties each year and Christmas events for all ages.

A Lunch Club and Information Session for carers over 55 is held monthly with a guest speaker and lunch provided free of charge.

Occasional coach trips for older parents are also arranged.

  However we have virtual sessions for you to take part in and enjoy, if you scroll down the page you will see the links.

 

 

Approximately 35 people attend our popular weekly keep fit class, which runs during the spring and summer in central Bromley.

Our professional, fully trained and experienced tutor teaches exercise to music and different dance routines ready for the end of term celebration!

Who is this for?

Adults with disabilities, their friends and family.

What does it cost?

£2.50 per session, which includes refreshments.

Disability Walking and Cycling Club activities postponed until further notice

Disability Walking and Cycling Club
The Club includes coach trips, cycling sessions and walking tours for disabled adults.

The walking tours incorporate nature and ecology lessons. The Club provides an opportunity for peer support and friendships to develop leading to improved physical health and mental wellbeing.

The Club is supported by funding from Transport for London.
