This April, Bromley Mencap is celebrating 75 years of support, inclusion and community for disabled people and their families.
Since 1951, we have grown from a small group of parents campaigning for change into a charity supporting thousands of people across Bromley each year. While much has changed, our purpose remains the same — to support disabled people to live the lives they choose and be part of their community. Our 75th anniversary is an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come, celebrate our community, and look ahead to the future.
We’ll be marking this milestone throughout the year, with events and fundraising activities to help support the next generation of families.
