Join us for a summer trip to Southend, Essex’s best-loved seaside resort. It’s home to the longest pleasure pier in the world, a beautiful stretch of beach and seafront, and a wide range of attractions. Alongside the classic seaside amusements, there are aquariums, parks, cafés, and plenty of indoor activities, making it a great day out whatever the weather.
Members should bring either money for lunch or a packed lunch, as well as spending money, a sunhat, sun cream and something to sit on at the beach.
