This Thursday, 1 October, Adrian, our Chair of Trustees, will be joining our team of cyclists for the Tour de Bromley & Lewisham, our 75km Cycle Ride celebrating 75 years of Bromley Mencap.
As Chair, Adrian sees first-hand the difference our services and activities make – helping disabled people develop new skills, build confidence, make friends and play an active role in their communities.
He is looking forward to taking on the challenge and raising funds to help us continue to grow and develop these opportunities for more people.
For Adrian, cycling is about much more than clocking up the miles:
“You do not need to be fast or clad in Lycra! Cycling is a wonderful way to get outdoors, explore the countryside, improve your fitness and spend time with great people – not to mention the chance to stop occasionally for cake, coffee and maybe a beer!”
Support our riders
Adrian and the rest of our team will set off this Thursday to take on 75 kilometres for our 75th anniversary.
