Pathways to Employment
Pathways to Employment is a programme supporting young disabled people aged 16 to 25 who are not in employment, to re-engage with society, and participate in a programme that upskills them through a person centred approach.
We help clients build confidence and move closer to an outcome of employment through a tailored pre-employment programme. We focus on outcomes for roles including customer service for retail, leisure and hospitality, administration, IT and construction. We identify client aspirations through specialist vocational profiling and work towards their objectives through action plans which are revisited on a weekly basis. Clients engage in weekly workshops which include community visits and an arranged work experience at the end of the project in their chosen field.
Pathways to Employment is funded by an Education and Skills Funding Agency Community Training Grant.
