Anna (photographed at Cotmandene Day Opportunities) is currently settling into her role and is busy meeting staff, volunteers and service users at our different projects. Anna is very much looking forward to getting to know our services and the support we provide.
Did you know that as part of the recruitment process, Anna was interviewed by our User Representative Panel?
The panel, made up of both parent and client representatives from across the organisation, designed the questions around what attributes they felt a good CEO should have, focusing on both professional and personal characteristics. User Representative Panels are used across the organisation for recruitment and allow candidates to demonstrate their ability to actively engage with people who have lived experiences. Panels also support members to gain more confidence and learn new skills that may help in other areas of their lives.
If you would like to find out more about getting involved and having your voice heard, please contact Amana Wilkins at user.involvement@bromleymencap.org
