Advice and Support

Bromley Mencap provides a wide range of advice and support services to assist disabled adults and children and their families and carers.  Whether it is information around welfare benefits, budgeting and other finance matters, or advice with daily living skills, healthy lifestyles, or using social media and technology, our services are here to support disabled people to access other community services and activities.

Our helpline is open on weekdays between 09:00 and 17:00 and can signpost to all of our other services and those provided by other organisations.

Our Community Outreach Project offers advice and support to disabled adults and children and their families and carers.

In addition, as part of Bromley Well, we provide support to adults with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, learning difficulties and autism, as well as young carers and mutual carers.   These services provide advice, information and support, as well as workshops and support groups.
