16–25 Autistic Collective

Connect and participate in a way that works for you.

The 16–25 Autistic Collective is a welcoming network for autistic young people aged 16 to 25.

Whether you would like to meet new people, try something different or find out what is happening locally, the Collective can help you get involved at your own pace.

You can take part one-to-one, in a small group or as part of a larger group, depending on what feels most comfortable for you. The project is funded by the London Borough of Bromley.

What does the Collective offer?

The Collective can support you with:

  • finding local groups, events and activities that match your interests
  • travel support, including a travel buddy to help you get to activities and events
  • opportunities to meet like-minded people, make friends and connect with others
  • regular social activities, including board game nights and community outings
  • sharing your ideas and helping to shape future activities and events
  • visual guides, travel plans and clear information to help you feel prepared before attending an activity or event.

You choose how you get involved

There is no one way to take part.

You might want to join a social activity, meet someone one-to-one first, try a new activity or simply find out more about what is available locally.

The Collective is designed to help you participate in a way that feels comfortable for you.

What do members say?

Members have told us that being part of the Collective has helped them make friends, try new things and feel more confident.

One member said:

“The Collective has helped me come out of my comfort zone.”

Another said they liked being able to choose the activities the group does because it made them feel listened to and involved.
Members have also enjoyed activities such as beach trips and pub nights, where they can relax, play games, chat and meet new people.
